I'm sure you have already read Mr. Illgen's letter and wish him well as he moves to Northridge.  I wanted to let you know that this week we have completed the hiring for the staff. 

Mr. Hullet will move to Assistant Band director at Putnam City North.  He will continue as Brass Specialist, and conduct the Symphonic Band and Jazz Bands. Eric Mowery, who is a Woodwind Specialist will be the new director at Hefner Middle School.  He is moving from the Houston area and teched here in 2005.  I am excited about these changes and I know we will have a hugely successful year with these people on our team.

 Mr. A. landed a job in Houston and we are excited for him.  He will write the percussion book for the show, be around next week for percussion camp and then head to Houston for his new job.  We do have a new percussion tech and he will be introduced to you next week.

Colorguard has been working hard this summer and they look great again.  They will be having a car wash Saturday July 17 at Christian Brothers Automotive on Hefner and Rockwell.  Go by and let the guard wash your car!!!

Band Camp starts the 26th of July.  Don't miss it!!!

The PC North Percussion Ensemble and Soloists will be performing Thursday night May 6 at 7:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center at North.  These talented musicians are under the direction of Percussion Tech Dane Romano with assistance from Greg Anikienko. 

Music includes, solos and ensembles that have been prepared for District and State Solo and Ensemble competitions as well as a recital at the state Percussive Arts Society Convention held in Ada last month.
